BIO
Anne’s Cordial may be newcomers to the New England music scene, but with their unique instrumentation, tight vocal harmonies, and intriguing arrangements, they are already creating a stir. The Providence-based trio performs original songs and reinvents blues, bossa nova, and New Wave 80s hits.

In the past year, the Providence-based band has played at local coffeehouses and several popular venues in Providence and Massachusetts, including Perishable Theatre, the Mediator Stage, Brooklyn Coffee and Tea House, All-Asia Bar, and Twin River casino. They have shared the stage with Porter Singer of Connecticut, Boston’s Adrienne Fawkes, Joe Auger of Providence, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Genevieve, and the one-and-only Spogga.

Anne's Cordial co-organized SWAN Day RI, part of SWAN (Support Women Artists Now) Day, a new international holiday. SWAN Day RI was an all-day festival featuring musicians from throughout New England, in a variety of genres, as well as filmmakers and local artisans. SWAN Day RI was held at the Artists’ Exchange in Cranston, RI on March 29, 2008.

"The Providence-based female trio Anne's Cordial can make a 16th-century Spanish Christmas carol sound like the blues, then turn around and make Robert Johnson's "Hellhound on My Trail" sound like a piece of medieval music. They've got piano, guitar and harp, but the voices are the thing, both individually and (especially) combined. Highly recommended." - Rick Massimo, The Providence Journal. 02-2008.

"Each woman of Anne's Cordial brings a unique background and focused energy to the performance. But it is their ease of collaboration that is so impressive." Mary DeBarry, Associated Content.
