We are really please to have Joe Auger on board with us. Joe has been the patient craftsman behind our demo, but he has also stepped up to the plate of being our drummer and appearing with us at our recent shows. Joe is a multi-instrumentalist and plays the stuff we ask him to play. He's especially adept at carving out funky latin rhythms with salt shakers and a jar full of beans.
In Joe's Own Words:
"Singer Songwriter Recording Engineer and Record Producer Multi Instrumentalist born not really too long ago and immediately made music a priority by memorizing all of the lyrics to every Monkees and Beatles song in existence. Discovered Prog rock, long hair and girls at an early age as well as the novel idea of being in a band in high school,(a band which played the gamut from The Moody Blues to Judas Priest and just about everything in between as well as touting seven members all of which are still my best friends in this cruel world! They still put up with me!) Discovered after being in a few bands in the Rhode Island area that band dynamics are a transient and fleeting thing. Decided to forgoe the band thing and become a freelance sound engineer and knob twiddler while also learning how to write better songs and sing standing up with a guitar in front of people who could give a ~! Hosted a famous open mic, (now sadly closed down) in Providence for ten years and released (3) albums and an EPs worth of music as well as two more albums worth of music that lay fallow in his archives until recently when he decided that it was time to get caught up with himself and get some of this music heard before it all goes KABLOOEY! The first release will be a limited edition vinyl 45 in a picture sleeve of the single "Other Pages backed with "Just Like You" on the B side. See the new songs above! Next will be the album "Taken MonAurally" which will be mixed in glorious Mono as well as Stereo like the old days of the 60's when it was common to have the choice!"
