Anne's Cordial

Growing up in a household of professional classical musicans, I started taking piano lessons at the age of 12 and continued to be formally trained in classical music well into college.  But I did not take up guitar until I graduated.  I was formally trained as a visual artist at Rhode Island College, but had always cultivated talents as an instrumentalist on the side, studying with accomplished jazz and blues guitar players in the area.  Currently I play guitar with Jacob Haller and the Running Commentary, Anne's Cordial, and on and off with local jazz ensembles.  In addition, I am honored to work part-time as the piano accompanist at the Sheldon Street Baptist Church, one of the country's oldest historical Black Baptist churches.  Some of my favorite guitar players include John McLaughlin, John Scofield, Derek Trucks, Kenny Burrell, Andy Summers and Albert King.
